Welcome to Learn “D” Skill (“the Platform,” “we,” “our,” “us”).
By accessing or using this website and our services, you (“User,” “You,” “Your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.


1. Introduction

This Agreement governs your use of Learn “D” Skill, an online learning platform designed to provide affordable and accessible technology education.
Your access to and use of the platform constitute a binding contract under Nigerian Law — particularly governed by the Law of Contract as codified in the Contracts Act (Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004) and enforced under Common Law principles of offer, acceptance, consideration, and intention to create legal relations.


2. Eligibility

By using this Platform, you affirm that you are at least 16 years old or have obtained parental/guardian consent.
You further affirm that you possess the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts as recognized under Section 7 of the Nigerian Contract Act.


3. User Accounts

  • You must register an account to access certain services.

  • You agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated information during registration.

  • You are solely responsible for safeguarding your password and all activities that occur under your account.

  • Misrepresentation, impersonation, or fraudulent registration may constitute an offence under Section 13 of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, Etc.) Act, 2015.


4. Use of Platform

You agree to use the Learn “D” Skill platform only for lawful purposes.
You shall not:

  • Engage in fraudulent activities or unauthorized access.

  • Reproduce, modify, or distribute platform content without permission.

  • Use the platform to transmit offensive, defamatory, or harmful materials.
    Any breach of this clause may result in account suspension and legal action under the Cybercrimes Act (2015) and Section 24 (Cyberstalking Provisions).


5. Intellectual Property Rights

All materials on Learn “D” Skill — including logos, videos, text, graphics, course materials, and software — are protected under the Copyright Act (2022) and Trademark Act (2004).
Users may access and use course materials solely for personal learning purposes.
Unauthorized use, redistribution, or resale of any course content constitutes an infringement and may lead to civil or criminal liability under Section 20 of the Copyright Act (2022).


6. Payment and Refund Policy

  • All payments made on the Platform are processed securely and are non-refundable, except in cases of proven technical error or double billing.

  • Refund requests must be made in writing to our support team within 7 business days of payment, subject to review.

  • Payment disputes shall be handled in accordance with the Electronic Transactions Act (2023) and Consumer Protection Framework of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN, 2019).


7. Certificates and Course Access

Certificates issued by Learn “D” Skill signify course completion and are subject to the accuracy of your personal data and participation records.
We reserve the right to revoke any certificate found to have been obtained fraudulently.


8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. All personal data collected is handled in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA), 2023, and the General Application and Implementation Directive (GAID, 2025).
We shall not disclose your information to third parties without consent, except where required by law or court order.


9. Limitation of Liability

Learn “D” Skill, its management, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Use or inability to use the Platform,

  • Delays, interruptions, or system failures,

  • Any unauthorized access to or alteration of user transmissions.

This limitation is enforceable under the Torts Law of Nigeria and Section 12 of the NDPA (2023) on lawful data processing liability.


10. Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any user account found in violation of these Terms.
Termination shall not prejudice our rights to seek redress or damages as provided under the Civil Procedure Rules of the Federal High Court of Nigeria (2019).


11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In the event of any dispute, both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of Lagos State or any other competent court in Nigeria.


12. Amendment of Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Users are advised to review periodically. Continued use of the platform after updates implies acceptance of the modified Terms.
