Effective Date: 7th November, 2025
Last Updated: 7th November, 2025
At Learn “D” Skill, we are committed to ensuring that every learner has a positive and valuable experience on our platform.
However, we understand that certain situations may arise where a refund request is necessary.
This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted, consistent with Nigerian consumer protection laws.
This Refund Policy is guided by:
Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA), 2019
Electronic Transactions Act, 2023
Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Consumer Protection Framework, 2019
Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA), 2023
These laws ensure transparency, fairness, and accountability in all digital and financial transactions made through our platform.
All payments made on Learn “D” Skill are non-refundable once a course or digital content has been accessed, downloaded, or partially completed.
This is in line with Section 120(2) of the FCCPA (2019), which recognizes digital goods and services as consumable upon delivery.
Refunds are, however, permitted under specific conditions described below.
A refund request may be approved only under the following circumstances:
Duplicate Payment:
If a user is charged more than once for the same transaction due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate payment after verification.
Technical Access Issues:
If you are unable to access a course due to a verified system fault on our side and the issue remains unresolved after 72 hours, you may be eligible for a refund.
Unfulfilled Course Delivery:
If a purchased course fails to deliver promised content or becomes unavailable without notice, the user will receive either a full refund or an equivalent course credit.
Unauthorized Transaction:
If you detect an unauthorized debit or fraudulent transaction, you must notify us within 5 business days. Such claims will be reviewed in accordance with CBN Consumer Protection Guidelines (2019) and may be referred to your payment provider or bank for resolution.
Refunds will not be granted for:
Completed or partially completed courses.
User dissatisfaction based on personal preference after accessing content.
Poor internet connectivity or device incompatibility on the user’s side.
Failure to meet self-paced learning deadlines.
These fall outside Learn “D” Skill’s control and are therefore ineligible for reimbursement under Section 129(1)(b) of the FCCPA (2019).
To initiate a refund request:
Send an email to support@learndskill.com.ng or me@samueloadesanya.com.ng with:
Full name
Registered email address
Course name
Proof of payment (screenshot or transaction receipt)
Reason for refund request
Refund requests are typically reviewed within 7 business days.
Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days via the same payment method used for purchase.
All requests are handled with transparency and in line with Section 145 of the FCCPA (2019), which ensures timely redress for consumers.
Users are encouraged to contact us first before initiating a chargeback through their bank or card issuer.
Filing fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may lead to suspension or permanent banning of a user account under Section 17 of the Electronic Transactions Act (2023).
In cases where a refund is not possible, Learn “D” Skill may issue course credits of equal value that can be applied to another course of your choice.
This provides learners flexibility while maintaining platform sustainability.
We reserve the right to update or amend this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
Continued use of our platform after updates indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
